George and Jessie, two absolute legends in their own right, created a day which which was spectacular & wildly entertaining yet also emotional, tender & heartfelt. The photos speak for themselves...all 500+ that I delivered for them, needless to say I was kept very busy for the 10 hours I was with them...everywhere I looked there was something happening that deserved photo.
Everything took place at the truly spectacular Fforest Weddings, an ethereal wedding venue with almost unlimited photo opportunities, one of my absolute favourites for photography

Aerial image of Milford Haven marina. Part of a series of images to capture the new Christmas lights, as well as marketing the marina as a tourism destination during the festive season.
This capture was taken during a glamping photoshoot for one of Canopy & Stars' destinations. The elevated perspective not only creates a striking composition, but also illustrates the cabins location in the surrounding area.
Paraiso Escondido captured on another Canopy & Stars assignment, this time in Southern Portugal
This photo shows the proximity of the curved Bombora office buildings in relation to the industrial sites where their wave energy devices are manufactured.

FBM Holidays were looking for an image to show the proximity of their holiday lets to the beach in Freshwater East. When standing in the holiday park the beach isn't visible at all, but by flying the drone 50metres in the air it was possible to get an angle which tells the full story.
The above three images are part of an assignment to document the transport of huge boulders from GD Harries' quarry in Bolton Hill, and onto a vessel heading for Hinkley point Nuclear Power Station.

Not all drone photography is about getting high in the sky. In this instance the house was on a steep slope meaning the only available images were looking directly up at the building. The drone was used to fly just 30ft in the air to acheive an otherwise unobtainable angle.

Despite chilly weather & rain during the ceremony, there was a warm atmosphere with blankets and candles. After taking Alex & Clarissa for a photo tour to the top of the factory, the reception got underway with great food, plenty of drinks and a party that went on till 6am in the morning!

I had such a great day shooting journalistic images all day, just blending in with the crowd while photographing the events and atmosphere of the day. It was helped by a beautiful and very entertaining couple & their guests, as well as the outstanding rural venue - Fforest (www.fforestweddings.co.uk/).
Thanks to Sandra Ace from http://www.sandraacephotography.co.uk/ for not only assisting but shooting some additional photos which made it into the set.

The shoot took place at Hammet House, a grade II listed Georgian house with contemporary modern luxuries, which complemented the exquisite designer dresses. Thanks to some great weather we were also able to utilise some of the beautiful surrounding grounds as well as the quirky interior which attracted us in the first place.
Sally White, owner of Narberth's small designer wedding boutique with a big reputation - White Bride, was the stylist for the shoot. Sally provided glamorous gowns from top British designers Jenny Packham & Annasul Y and finished each look with stunning accessories from the ranges available at her store.
Having seen her immaculate work at work at weddings and on previous shoots, the talented Amrie Duckett was chosen as the makeup artist for the shoot. We also have to mention "Next Door" from Narberth, who provided us with two stunning bouquets, despite being more than slightly busy preparing flowers for the Queens visit to Pembrokeshire on the same day!
Special thanks to our beautiful models Coral Lewis & Megan Swan, and Ella Richardson for assisting and ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day.

Rain & drizzle gave way to glimpses of sunshine as we made our way to a little church in a rugged spot at Penbryn. After the ceremony photos took place on the nearby beach before the reception & more photos at Rhosygilwen (www.rhosygilwen.co.uk/) mansion. After the speeches we were treated to a fantastic early glimpse at their first dance as Graham & Anna practiced it in front of the camera! Take a look through and enjoy
The next day the clouds gave way to brilliant Australian sunshine, so Thom & Emma redressed in their wedding clothes for an impromptu photoshoot on the beach. These photos will be in the next blog post.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Thom & Emma for inviting me to be part of this amazing experience, and all the rest of the family & friends for their welcome, hospitality and cracking banter!
